Features
The teeth of the copper splice clip securely clamp any carrier tape, ensuring high reliability in the tape connection. Made from pure copper, the clip is thin, soft, and easy to cut, without affecting the operation of the pick-and-place machine’s cutter or feeder. It is suitable for all tape widths. When the SMT splice tape, copper splice clip, and material receiving pliers are used together, the splice connection of the carrier tape becomes more secure.
Usage Steps
1.Position the splice clip (teeth facing up) onto the placement pins of the splice tool.
2.Align both carrier tapes (cover tape facing up) centrally on the pins and secure them with the clamps.
3.Engage the handle to securely crimp and connect the carrier tapes.
4.Apply an SMT splice tape to the carrier tape to complete the splicing process.
